Multilingual Supply Room

The Multilingual Supply Room is a digital hub for educators of English Learners, which provides an easily accessible selection of supplemental resources intended to support English Learners in their literacy journey by leveraging their existing skills, knowledge, and home/heritage language abilities.  

The Multilingual Supply Room enables English Learners to acquire strong literacy skills in English by tapping into their skill-sets and home languages, while concurrently supporting the students’ educators and families/caregivers with tailored materials, resources, and videos. The resources available in the hub currently cater to eight languages (Arabic, Haitian Creole, Korean, Mandarin, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.)  

The Multilingual Supply Room is designed to augment and enhance RGR’s literacy programs, ensuring an equitable learning experience for all.   ​ 

​Digital and printable resources Include:​

• Supplemental Lessons foundational skill lessons that provide students with the necessary foundation to begin to read in the English language.
• Resource Scope and Sequence​ list the succession and sequence of phonics skills taught and provides EL recommendations for each of those skills. References resources available (within the Supply Room) per skill listed.
• Letter Articulation Videos shows how to articulate English phonemes in real time- applicable to students of any language.
• Instructional Animation Videos provided in multiple languages to frontload phonics skills being taught and enable comprehension of practice activities for skill review and reiteration.
• Teaching materials such as anchor charts, flashcards and worksheets (provides for purposeful referencing and practice to further support English phonics skill instruction).
